East Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Banquereau to the
Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Maine to Southwestern
Shore.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Grand Manan to East
Scotian Slope.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:46 AM ADT 26 May 2026 A trough of low pressure from Anticosti to East Scotian Slope will
stall across the northern and eastern marine district today then pull
southeastward towards the Grand Banks by Wednesday morning. Strong to
gale force south to southeast winds ahead of the trough will shift to
moderate to strong westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, and Cabot Strait.
