Issued 9:30 PM NST 5 December 2025 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 PM NST 5 December 2025 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over the
Northwest Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force east to southeasterlies
will continue east of the trough, and strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies will continue to spread west of the trough as it
intensifies.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale,
North Labrador Coast, and Northwest Labrador Sea - western half.
