Issued at 1202 AM CST SAT DEC 6 2025

Today through Sunday

Higher rains chances continue today across the southeastern
counties, especially south of the I-85 corridor. Additional rain
totals will generally be less than a half inch. Highs in the low to
mid 50s today and mid 50s to low 60s on Sunday as the region sees
some warming in advance of an approaching trough. Rain chances will
return across the entire area Sunday afternoon into early Monday
morning as a cold front sweeps through the area.

Monday through Friday

Dry conditions are expected Monday through Wednesday across Central
Alabama. Monday will be a touch cooler than Sunday but highs will
rebound back to the upper 50s to mid 60s by Wednesday. Monday night
is still on track to be a cold one, with lows in the 20s across most
areas north and west of the I-85 corridor. Another trough drops into
the Ohio Valley region by way of Alberta, Montana, and the Dakotas
by Wednesday evening. Maintaining rain chances from Wednesday night
